The Mixer: August – Inside the Local Sightings Film Festival

Get a preview of this year’s Local Sightings Film Festival (Sept 18-27), Seattle’s only festival dedicated to PNW films and filmmakers

This month at The Mixer, join us for a conversation with Northwest Film Forum as they gear up for the 23rd annual Local Sightings Film Festival, coming up Sept 18-27. You’ll get a look behind the scenes of running a virtual film fest, learn festival tips for filmmakers, and get a preview of the festival.

Local Sightings Film Festival showcases the growing complexity of creative communities in the Pacific Northwest, by uplifting new talent, providing educational opportunities for youth and adults, supporting the regional film industry, and promoting diverse media as a critical tool for public engagement.
