The Mixer | Seattle

where creatives connect

Resources to keep you going until the next Mixer

We’re hitting the pause button on our monthly event, The Mixer, for October and November. Stay tuned for details on our year-end Mixer in December.

In the meantime, here are some resources to dive into to expand your network, your skill set, and your brand.

Grow Your Network

Film: Register yourself or your business, or connect with others for your film production needs on the Washington Filmworks Production Directory.

Music: Search for a collaborator or list yourself on Seattle-based pianist Randy Halberstadt’s musician directories or on Spotify for Artists’ SoundBetter marketplace.

Nightlife: Join the cause to keep Seattle’s live music venues alive at Keep Music Live.

Special Events:  Seattle major event organizers, join ASSET and make your voice heard.

Network on LinkedIn (check out AIGA’s ‘Designer’s guide to LinkedIn’ for tips).

Strengthen Your Skill Set, Your Brand, or Your Business

Got a library card? Both Seattle Public Library and King County Library System offer cardholders free on-demand tutorials from Lynda.com that cover business skills, social media, marketing, popular software platforms, and more.

Take advantage of SPL’s additional resources for businesses, including virtual classes and workshops.

Get inspired by other creatives from across Washington state and find out about upcoming opportunities via Whipsmart’s newsletter.
